Q: What made you apply for this job?
A: After the tragic loss of my fiancé I decided I needed to make my childhood dream of getting a purebred German Shepherd puppy come true. Looking for ways to build a confident and well balanced Shepherd I came across the enrichment program at The Puppy Den and it was so unique that I signed him up for Daycare right away. It wasn’t long after that I decided I had to take a chance and apply because I loved everything about the company and it has always been my dream to work with dogs. I needed a reason to keep going and The Dog Den/Puppy Den has given me more than a job. It gave me my life back!
Q: What is your favorite part of daycare?
A: This is a hard one because I’m learning so much on the floor daily, but watching the dogs communicate with one another is pretty amazing.
Q: What is your favorite part of training?
A: This is also an extremely hard one as I’m learning so much every day and I love every single part of training! I truly love seeing the celebrations the dogs and humans have when they accomplish the task and thus watching the bond grow between dog and human. It is so wonderful to be a part of.

A: They have become my second family 💗

A: How kind they are and the love we all share for their dogs!

A: Everything!! I don’t want to leave work half the time!
Q: Something unique about you – not related to the dogs
A: After the loss of my fiancé my grandmother came to live with me, so I could care for her since she couldn’t anymore due to her Dementia/Alzheimer’s.

A: I like to go paddleboarding with my dog Astro.

A: Many different breeds Dobermans, Huskies, Shepherds, Beagles, Labs/Goldens

A: I currently have 2 German Shepherds (14 yrs and 1.5 yrs), 3 cats and 3 Ferrets.

A: Boring or maybe just slightly weird, but I like room temperature soda Dr. Pepper specifically.
Q: If you were a candle, what scent would you be?
A: Sweet Pea or something woodsie since I’m always hiking like Pine, Cedar or Bonfire.
Q: If you could have 1 super power, what would it be?
A: I would love to communicate with all animals or teleport
Q: What weird collections do you have.
A: Unicorns for one, but I have a few different collections. I don’t think it’s weird, but my dad says I need another house for all my crystals, gems and rocks. I also collect glass blown paperweights.
